We're back with a review of The Accountant, starring Ben Affleck, Anna Kendrick and JK Simmons. Plus we talk about the trailer for Brad Pitt's newest "Allied."

In this episode we review the new animated Batman feature film "Return of the Caped Crusaders," the continuation of the 1960's TV series starring Adam West and Burt Ward. It was a Fathom Event, so there were no trailers. We also talk about how weird Fathom Events are, why superhero movies are so damn depressing, and for some reason, Tyler Perry and the Madea movies.

Queen of Katwe

Between the name of the movie (Queen of Katwe) and the name of one of the movie's stars (David Oyelowo) this episode has the highest amount of words Mike has trouble pronouncing. We review Queen of Katwe - a word Mike has trouble with due to its similiarity to both Kanye and Gotye. Plus we talk about the trailer for the Beauty and the Beast, which leads to a healthy debate on the name of what the name of the clock was.

It started as all our trips to the cinema do, but it ended so much differently. For the first time in the history of our humble podcast, we did NOT just see a movie. We intended to see The Girl On The Train, but a broken projector led us down a different path. We decided to do a podcast about it anyway. In this episode we describe the thrilling, harrowing experience of what happens when a movie can't play due to technical difficulties. The rest of it is a pretty free flowing discussion on a wide variety of topics, including (but not limited to): Benedict Cumberbatch's American accent, the trailer for the new Jessica Chastain lobbyist thriller Miss Sloane, that one time we ran into Jessica Chastain on the subway, that one time Elizabeth ran into Dave Grohl at an Oasis concert, and finally (and somewhat bizarrely), our top five least favorite people in our neighborhood of Astoria, NY. Spoiler alert: the manager of this theater who yelled at us for using the "wrong" bathrooms makes the cut. (Note: here's the link to the blog post we reference about our weird Duane Reade cashier).

In this episode we talk about Tim Burton's "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children." Plus we talk about the very odd trailers for Trolls and the Smurfs.
