Today's episode is something a little different: instead of reviewing a movie, we talked about Mike's new web series premiering next week, Mike Works From Home. We talk to a couple members of the show's cast and crew, Herbie Gill and Becca Steinhoff, about some of the show's characters and performances, how the show itself came together, and other behind the scenes stuff about the show's production. To check out the show, make sure to subscribe to Mike's YouTube channel at, or go to

We're back with a new review of an old movie: Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. We talk about what we like, what we didn't like, and debate whether or not we should adopt the Obi-Wan rat tail. Plus there's a screaming guest appearance from Elizabeth's new porg.

Happy Death Day

In today's episode we celebrate that holiest of holidays: Death Day, with a review of Happy Death Day. We discuss the Groundhog Day movie template, Elizabeth's new steak-based movie rating system, and Elizabeth's irrational anger at the lack of theaters playing Geostorm on the Thursday night before it opens.

Love on a Limb

In this episode we bring Bad Movie Friday to Wednesday with a review of the 2016 Hallmark Channel classic "Love on a Limb" from the stately Piazza manor in Centreville, Virginia. The description from IMDB: "Aimie Roarke is always up for a cause and when the town's beloved oak tree is set to be cut down, she takes it upon herself try and save it."

This one's for the Star Wars nerds. In this episode we give our thoughts on The Last Jedi trailer that dropped last week. We're also joined by a couple of very special guests (also Star Wars nerds). We discuss the trailer itself and also speculate on what we think will go down in Episode VIII.

In today's episode we review Collide. We missed this one in theaters but caught it onDemand - and by, how we wish we hadn't. Here's the description: "An American backpacker gets involved with a ring of drug smugglers as their driver, though he winds up on the run from his employers across Cologne high-speed Autobahn." The movie sucked but this episode doesn't as we had a good time tearing this one apart.

October Kiss

We're back with a special edition of Bad Movie Friday on a Monday to review the Hallmark Channel's October Kiss. Here's the description from IMDB: "Poppy Summerall is hired near Halloween as a temporary nanny by Ryan Lawson, a widowed, work-obsessed executive. Through a series of adventures, the eternally optimistic Poppy sets out to teach Ryan and his two young children what's important in life - unconditional love, family and the joy of everyday occurrences." It features the star of one of our Christmas episodes from last year, Christmas in the City.

American Made

In today's episode we review American Made, the based on a true story starring Tom Cruise. Plus we also review the trailers for Marshall, All the Money in the World, and Death Wish.

We're back, and in today's episode we just saw Kingsmen: The Golden Circle. We also give a review of the weird new Hugh Jackman PT Barnum musical biopic. Bet you'd never see all those words together in the same sentence, eh?
